YOUNG PEOPLE
Children and young people are very welcome at St Mary at Finchley. There are various
activities during the Sunday 10am church service as below:-
Babies and toddlers - are welcome in church during services. There is a children's
corner at the back of the church which is equipped with a selection of toys.
3 years to 5 years - during term times, there is junior church for this age group
in the committee room of St Marys Church Hall, to the left of the church from 10am
until the end of the service. Contact Anna Maria Mullen or more details or just come
along.
5 year to 7 years - during term time there is junior church in the big hall of the
church hall. Contact Amanda Hughes for more details or just come along at 10am.
7+ years - during term time there is junior church in the small hall. Contact Debbie
Salman for more details or just come along at 10am.
Secondary school - a discussion group is run for this age group in the big hall.

Other activities are run other than service times:-
SMUDGE - a drama group for 8+ years meets from 6pm to 7.30pm on Friday evenings in
the big hall in term time. There is a waiting list so please contact Jane Piper for
more information.
GIG -a youth group for secondary school children meets in the big hall from 8pm to
9.30pm on Fridays in term time. There is a waiting list so please contact Sian Parry
for more information.
YOUTH CHOIR - a choir for 7+ years meets on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 6.45pm.
